Promoting Sustainable Resource Management and the Protection of Fiji's Environment Through Law
James Sloan assisted in the foundation of FELA, and has been the Chairman of the Executive Management Committee from FELA's inception to date. James provides his time to FELA in a pro-bono capacity and is a partner in the Suva-based law firm, Siwatibau and Sloan (sas.com.fj). James is a barrister in both the Fiji and English jurisdictions and his interests include running, the environment with a particular focus on the ocean and maritime law, fisheries, governance systems and how to promote good decision making, providing a good working environment, travel, amateur photography, good science fiction and family. James is a regular contributor to the discourse in relation to promoting sustainable resource management and is a committed member of FELA.
